There are now a number of brands of steel cylinder in the UK market place, increasing the overall choice available. We have however resisted the lure of the cheaper brands and stuck with the original Faber Steel cylinders, not least due to their excellent reputation for consistent quality. This unit is designed as the perfect back up, or pony, style cylinder. It has a 3L capacity, 4” diameter, with 232 bar working pressure, and is fully manufactured in accordance with BS 5045. To maintain the overall quality of the unit as a whole we have used a UK manufactured, fully serviceable, MDE DIN / International convertible valve, allowing you to adjust between A/Clamp or DIN configuration as required. Additional features include heavy duty, self draining boot and rigid handle. Although it is possible to build up your own pony set, it may be a better idea to consider one of our ready made (cold water rated) packages.
