The Aqualung Kronos Regulator represent a new way of thinking when it comes to regulator design.
The most obvious design change is the asymmetric exhaust position, or Side-X exhaust. The Side-X exhaust serves two purposes, firstly is delivers the divers bubbles away from the face, preventing them from obscuring any views, and secondly the exhaled breath passed over the second stage valves, helping to warm it to prevent any freezing issues.
Venturi control and breathing resistance are included as standard, but integrated into one control making it easier to adjust. The Auto Closure Device or ACD also helps seal off the first stage once the cylinder is removed, helping to prevent accidental ingress of water into the first stage. The fist stage itself is also over balanced, resulting in superior performance.
