The new Aqualung Slingshot Fins have quite literally re-invented the wheel, and set the competition into panic mode. With design and performance far beyond anything that has come before, the Aqualung Slingshot Fins are simply phenomenal.
They feature a unique Power Band concept that actually stores and releases energy just when you need it. As you move through the power stroke of your kick cycle the Slingshot Power Bands are loaded with energy, and then they release it just prior to the upstroke, giving you an extra boost of power. This completely unique system not only means no wasted energy, it also means less fatigue and added thrust – super efficiency.
The Aqualung Slingshot is also capable of offering you complete personalisation, with its Gear Shift option. The Power Bands have three variable strength settings allowing you to easily and quickly adjust your fins to suit your exact personal requirements, from level 1 to 3. They can even be adjusted during your dive, whilst wearing gloves.
If that wasn’t enough amazing new features the Aqualung Slingshot also features a Mid-Foot Flex Joint designed to take the strain off both the toes and top of the ankle, and also to enable you to use the entire foot rather that just the front half of it to power your fins. This feature allows a significantly larger range of motion, often up to five times that of a conventional fin.
