Here at Dive Pursuits we have just taken delivery of the New Mares Ice-Fit Drysuit, launched earlier this year and only available through a limited number of premium Mares dealers in the UK.

Following on from Aqualungs Product Recall last week, Apeks have this week announced a product recall bulletinon their ATX and XTX regulators.

The problem is related to the 2nd stage assembly of any ATX or XTX regulator, including octopus which fall within the range of serial numbers 701 0001 and 807 001.

It has become apparent to Apeks that some of these regulators may be missing a diaphragm cover in the second stage, which under the right conditions could allow the diaphragm to become misplaced.  This item can be replaced at any Apeks Authorised dealer.

Aqualung UK have announced a Recall on DIN fittings on Titan First stages.

The recal applies to all the owners of TITAN DIN regulators whose serial number is lower than 6062501 and \ or whose DIN screw is marked 300 BAR MAX.  The recal involves the replacement of the DIN fitting and can be carried out by your Authorised Aqualung Dealer in store.

The replacement DIN fitting is designed to eliminate the problem of potential failure caused when the DIN fitting is installed  with manual torque loads superior to the recommended values during service.  The original brass DIN fitting is replaced with a Stainless Steel fitting marked 300B MAXI

This recal does not apply to any TITAN DIN regulators whose serial number is superior to 6062501 and \ or whose DIN screw is marked 300 BAR MAXI
 

The replacement is carried out under Warranty

As we mentioned quite a while back, we have been busy working on some changes to the Dive Pursuits website.
